Something not working?

My license key is not working

Your key arrives in the email receipt from Gumroad right after you buy. Check the spam folder first, since that receipt is the single most commonly lost email in the whole process. Enter it on the course entrance page.

If the key still will not take, email hello@networthykids.com with the address you bought with and we will unlock you manually. You do not need the receipt.

My child's progress disappeared

Progress is saved in the browser on the device you were using, not on our servers, which is the same reason we hold no data about your child. Progress vanishes if the browser data was cleared, if you switched to a different device or browser, or if you were in a private window.

We cannot restore it, because we never had a copy. The badges can be re-earned by replaying the lessons. The reasoning behind the tradeoff is in the Privacy Policy.

How do I back up my child's progress, or move it to a new device?

On the dashboard, under the name chips, there is Save a backup. That downloads a small file with that child's lessons, badges and Score in it. Keep it wherever you keep anything else you would not want to lose.

To put it on another device, or back on the same one after a reset, open the dashboard there, pick the child you want it to land on, and choose Restore from a file. Back up each child separately, since the file holds one child at a time.

The file does not contain your licence key, so it is a backup and not a second copy of the course. Enter your key on the new device the same way you did the first time, from your receipt email.

Homeschool families who report a portfolio can hand this file, or the printed certificate, to whoever asks for evidence of work completed.

Two of my kids share one device

That works. On the course page there is a name chip at the top where you can add a second, third or fourth child. Each one keeps separate progress, badges and Score, and switching between them takes a tap. Your first child's existing progress is untouched when you add a sibling.

How do I print the activities?

Each unit has a printable pack linked at the end of the lessons. They are ordinary PDFs and print on standard letter paper in black and white. Print them as often as you like for your own children.

What devices does it work on?

Anything with a web browser: tablet, laptop, desktop, Chromebook or phone. There is nothing to install, no app store, no account and no password. A tablet is the sweet spot for most kids. You need an internet connection while a lesson is running.

Two practical notes. Progress saves on the device itself, so have your child use the same one each time; if they switch, that lesson starts again. And the missions use printable sheets, so a home printer helps, though a library or print shop works fine.

I want a refund

Email hello@networthykids.com within 30 days of buying and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. Details are in the Terms.

Schools, districts and ESA programs

Email hello@networthykids.com for standards crosswalks, a W-9, procurement paperwork, purchase orders or a classroom license. The household license does not cover classroom use, so please do ask rather than assume.

If your program needs to know how student data is handled, the short answer is that we do not collect any, and the Privacy Policy says so in the detail a procurement officer will want.
